On the auspicious day of Vijayadashami

*At Sri Geethabhajan Anjaneyar Temple, Periyakuili, Coimbatore*

The Vidyaramba program, which marks the beginning of education, is going to be held

• 🕉️ (Vidya means “education”, Arambam means “beginning”) at our Sri Geethabhajan Anjaneyar Temple on the day of Vijayadashami.
• 🕉️ In the presence of the Guru, mother and father, the child’s finger is held on a plate spread with rice grains and the mantra is written.
• 🕉️ The Guru is going to write the mantra on the child’s tongue with a peacock feather.
• 🕉️ Writing on the tongue with honey signifies the grace of the God of Education, through which one will attain the true wealth of knowledge.
• 🕉️ We are going to perform a *Vidyarambam* ceremony in the presence of Anjaneya with the names, zodiac signs and stars of our children, along with the chanting of the *Vidyarambam* ceremony in which the children are given a red and holy name on their foreheads, a Rudraksha or Tulsi garland on their necks, and a proper educational mantra such as Saraswati and Hayagriva mantras.
• 🕉️ The children will touch the feet of Anjaneya with the name of the gods and worship them among 1008 herbal trees and 27 star trees that can remove the effects of the Navagrahas.
• 🕉️ Please inform all the parents of *children under 5 years of age* in our contact with this information and make them participate.
